March Favourites | 2017

March has been a really good month for me, apart from loving the warmer weather and having pretty daffodils spread across my house I took part in a charity challenege were me and my mum did 10,000 steps everyday to raise money for British Heart Foundation and we raised £326!! 126 over our target so we are so pleased and thank everyone that donated.

I tried quite a few new things throughout March, some were a bust but most I really enjoyed using so I picked out a handful to include in todays post..

I first got this as a little sachet sample last year and I fell inlove so I had to buy it again and luckily I found a little 4ml sample on Depop for £6, the price tag is so high I was glad to find a bargain and this will last me a long time too.

By far this is the BEST primer I have ever used and it pains me that there is such a hefty price tag that comes along with it ranging from £20 for the smallest size of 10ml to the largest size being £98!! It breaks my heart.

The mineral veil primer is oil free, mineral based and has SPF 15 & is the only product I have found that makes my combination skin look poreless and completely smooth without feeling heavy on my skin.

The consistency is like a cream but blends like velvet and sinks into my skin instantly. Also, this is the only thing I've found that keeps my makeup in place for hours and hours. There is no scent either which is a plus. Nothing compares and my bank card is already crying knowing I will be buying a bigger size at the price of £20 for 10ml! So expensive but so worth it.

I received this from my local hair salon, Salonista and it is by far my favourite hair serum right now. Leaves my hair looking and feeling hydrated and smooth, taming all the frizz I am prone to and works amazing on both wet and dry hair. They are also vegan and cruelty free, bonus! A more indepth review is coming soon on my blog.

I've become so into face masks lately and ever since I have seen a huge improvement in my skin. Very little blemishes and even the scars have reduced, I really believe it's thanks to these masks. I have a few favourites but by far the Glamglow masks are my top picks.

I buy the travel sizes ones which are £14 for 15g, the full size pots are £39 for 50g. I just love minis so prefer to purchase smaller ones although I probably end up spending more in the long run.

The ones I have and love are the Youthmud, Thirstymud & Powermud. They all have different benefits but by miles the Thirstymud is my favourite, I love the scent & feeling it gives my skin, almost a cooling sensation and leaves my face feeling hydrated and supple. There is something quite therapeutic when I apply it before I go to bed leaving it to sink in overnight, dunno why but it's such a lovely mask, I already have back ups.

The Youthmud is a great exfoliatant, like the Powermud but way more harsh. The Youthmud does sting my skin quite alot when I first apply it, not going to lie it is very uncomfortable but after a few minutes it settles and feels fine. The dual cleanse dries down like a normal mask but once water is applied it turns into an oil that leaves the skin feeling hydrated. Both masks make my skin feel/look great and thoroughly cleansed.

If you need something to give your skin a pick me up, I'd suggest giving Glamglow a try, they don't disappoint.

Hoola is another mini sized product I have been loving through March. I used to have the full size but never gave it much of a chance and I can't seem to remember why because this bronzer is lovely!

I have fair skin and it's so easy for bronzers to look muddy or orange on my skin but Hoola is a nice shade to bronze with, I don't find this great for Contour though it's still abit too warm for that so I would be interested to try Benefits newest realise, Hoola Lite. That shade looks perfect for me.

The formula is smooth and blends effortlessly on my skin and works well with any look. Totally get why this is so highly hyped by many. The mini box and brush is too cute to resist aswell.

Bond Girl is my all time favourite formula and colour in a lipstick, I need to repurchase asap since my one is nearly gone and it would be a travesty to be without it!

I wear this pretty much everyday and I think it suits me so well, no matter what makeup look I'm wearing or where I'm going, it's just a perfect toned down berry shade that would suit every skintone.

The formula is matte but with all matte lipsticks I have to wear my EOS lip balm underneath to make them more comfortable, this is no exception but it is more comfortable than other matte lippies out there.. Saying that I still find it long wearing, when it does fade it doesn't look horrible or flakey which is a big plus for me, we all hate that look right?

Charlotte Tilbury products are some of my favs, the quality and packaging is to die for, so pretty and would recommend to all. All her lipsticks smell so good too, like vanilla!

Hope you enjoyed this months favourites.
