Christmas Wishlist 2016

I've never been one to make lists for items I have my eye on, for any occasion really. I don't usually like asking for things because I tend to have more expensive taste and tbh I feel selfish and don't like the idea of friends or family spending that much on me, I would much rather get things myself if they cost a pretty penny.

My friends and family seem to know me pretty well though and always do a fab job of picking gifts for me, I think I'm pretty easy to buy for though..vouchers, candles and makeup. Can't go wrong!

I am very grateful for everything I receive on Christmas day (and birthdays) but for the purpose of this post I decided to gather together some things I have had my eye on for a while, there is alot but I've narrowed it down. Some old favourites and some new, maybe even some items you love the look of for gift ideas too.

The one and only thing I ever ask for as a gift is perfume, usually my dad is the one to get it for me but I do cheat, my dad gives me the money to get it so I can get the Boots advantage points on my card then just give him it to wrap up. This has been the case for my birthday and christmas the past couple of years. I absolutely hate how expensive perfume is but who doesn't love to smell good? I tend to run out of mine so quickly so this is always a good idea for a gift.

This year I have had my eye on the Giorgio Armani Perfume, Si. Everytime I am in store I go straight to this and spray it so I knew I had to add this to my wishlist. Boots currently have a deal on which is only available online, you get a 50ml bottle for £50 (usually £69) and you also get £10 worth of Boots advantage points on your loyalty card which is AMAZING! A 30ml bottle retails for £47 so you are getting a really good deal, I couldn't pass it up so my dad kindly got it for me :).

This scent lasts ages on the skin and on your clothes, even after a shower you can still smell it and this is the only perfume that has that lasting power for me.

Listed below is the fragrance notes, if you like the look of the scents or know someone who will then this will be the perfect gift for you. I am very excited to start wearing this from Christmas day..

Top Notes: Sicilian Bergamot, Mandarin Oil, Liquer de Cassis
Heart Notes: Rose de Mai Absolute, Neroli Absolute, Egyptian Jasmine Absolute
Base Notes: Patchouli Oil, Blond Woods, Amber, Orcanox, Vanille Absolute

This is such a huge favourite in the beauty world and for good reason.. I love this concealer! I ran out a few months ago but never got round to repurchasing. The coverage is perfect, and it certainly lives up to its weightless claim. Works really well with my skin type and the colour fair neutral suits perfectly aswell.

To buy this for someone else if you don't know their skin tone could be a pretty hard gift to get but to add to your own wishlist I think this would be a nice one to include.

I've had my eye on this cult favourite for so long now, I have heard so many good things about this all matte contour pallet and have been dying to try it but never fancied purchasing from America and being hit by custom charges and all that nasty stuff but finally Kat Von D makeup is available to buy in Debenhams which makes me very excited! I pretty much want it all haha!

From what I have heard this is the perfect contour pallet, very suitable for pale skin so this would be ideal, would love to see if this is worth the hype or not.

The prices aren't too bad either, alot cheaper than I was expecting tbh so I had to include this into my wishlist.

If you are a Apple user like me then you will know how AWFUL their charging cables are and after 1 year mine has died, tbh it has lasted longer than my previous ones but the wires have totally snapped off (pain!). I am currently using a cheap knock off iPhone 6 one from Wilkos which takes a million years to charge my phone and it doesn't really work too well either, it randomly stops charging without me knowing so a new genuine cable is well and truly needed I think.

Apple are forever bringing out new phones but they just can't upgrade the charging cables so we all have to constantly splurge out to replace them which is annoying. Protest for Apple to up their charger game anyone? I THINK SO!

5. Various Morphe Brushes

You are probably aware I am a huge fan of Morphe products. Their eyeshadow pallets and makeup brushes are such amazing quality at a really affordable prices. I already own a few brushes but over the past year I have slowly been creating a list of some new brushes I would like to get my hands on..

Morphe R14 Round Contour Brush - £8.95
Morphe E4 Angled Contour Brush - £13.95
Morphe R7 Deluxe Pointed Powder Brush - £14.50
Morphe M438 Pointed Contour Brush - £8.95
Morphe M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Eye Brush - £5.50

If you haven't tried any of the Morphe products I would highly recommend them! Check out a couple of my posts from when I first started blogging where I talk about my favourite products.. Morphe 35K & 35N Review & Morphe Brush Top 3

Every year Benefit come out with new Christmas gift boxes and I love the look of this years selection. The one that I was drawn to the most was the 'Girlesque' set which includes all my favourites products. The set is only £44.50 but has a value of £75 so this is a great deal!

In the cute doll head tin you get 3 full size items and 1 mini..

  • Benefit Porefessional Primer 22ml
  • Benefit They're Real Mascara 8.5g
  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer 8g
  • Benefit Benetint 4ml
This would be the perfect gift for any makeup lover, right up my alley of course and the little keep sake box would come in handy for storage or just for display too.

So that was just a few things I have had on my wishlist this past year, I hope you enjoyed this post and possibly inspire you for some gift ideas of your own!
