Look Incredible Unboxing - April Edition

This month I am very excited to receive my Look Incredible beauty box. I have been putting off looking at other peoples posts about this months box so I can be surprised and I am so impressed.

By far the best box so far covering all the beauty items you need on a daily basis from moisturiser, eye cream, blush and highlight, aswell as mascara and a lip gloss. Perfect to create any basic look.

This month you get brands such as Urban Decay, Laura Geller, Smashbox, Loreal and also a new brand to me, Velvet 59.

This was the first thing I spotted in the box and I was glad to find a full size moisturser from a brand that is well known and loved for their skincare.

This cream claims to strengthen the cells in the skin with white jasmine, calcium to re start the protective barrier which prevents dehydration and gives intensely nourished, soft and silky skin in 4 weeks..we will see if those claims are true but so far I am liking it.

The cream is a very rich and does leave my skin moisturised and feeling hydrated but L'oreal claim it is non greasy but I do feel it leaves my face feeling the opposite, although I am oily so this could be why. I do find this doesn't sit very well under makeup though so it is best used on a no makeup day. You can never have too many moisturisers so I am pleased to receive this.

Laura Geller is a brand I have heard of but never tried so I was happy to receive a product from the brand in this months box. I don't know why it is named as a primer when really it is just a under eye cream.

I never usually reach for any eye creams since I never tend to see any difference when I use them but this product claims to hydrate the under eye area and give your eyes a pick me up with it being infused with antioxidants which helps with aging and fine lines/wrinkles.

I love the applicator with it looking like a little iron which helps with application and gives a soothing effect which is great for puffiness or tired eyes.

I will carry on using this and see if it really works or not.

I am very impressed to see a Smashbox item in this months box. I don't think I have ever seen a Smashbox product included in any beauty box subscription. (I could be wrong.) I was even more excited to see it was a blusher/highlighter duo which is perfect for travelling.

The blusher is a lovely matte peachy pink which gives me a nice healthy flush of colour and really suits pale skin. The highligher is also very nice for pale skin, it isn't glittery but more like a satin finish and is a subtle pinky/champagne colour, not over powering at all which is what I like on a daily basis. Both blendable and pigmented and work really well as eyeshadows aswell, especially the blush shade..looks stunning blended into the crease. Very impressed with this duo. Great pick LI!

This is a American brand which I have only just discovered and I believe isn't sold widely here in the UK although the creater Paris Manning spent half her life here in the UK and the other in New York.

This promises to give extreme length, thickness, fast drying, smudge proof and long lasting lashes. Bold claims which do not live up to expectations unfortunately. It is very black in colour which I love and the rubber wand reminds me alot of the Benefit They're Real mascara with its spikey bristles and unique almost ball shaped end to help reach those hard to get lashes.

I have tried this twice so far and each time I haven't been impressed. It doesn't make my lashes look any different except black in colour. It offers my lashes no length, thickness nor is it smudge proof. After a few hours of wearing this I had major panda eyes, which I never experience with any other mascaras, even the cheapest doesn't do that for me. I much prefer my cheaper alternative, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. This is a big flop in my opinion.
The mascara is also paraben, gluten and cruelty free.

Urban Decay Super Saturated Lip Colour - Lovechild RRP £14

I am abit disappointed to find yet another glossy lip product in my box this month, this formula isn't something I typically wear. Some matte lip products would be nice! Also I can't seem to find this anywhere for sale anymore. But for those that love a glossy lip I am sure you would love to have this included in your box this month.

This lip pencil does exactly what it says on the tin. It is super glossy, super pigmented and super saturated. I got mine in the shade Lovechild which is a light pink on me. Not a colour I tend to reach for but I am kinda warming to it.

I find these aren't very sticky either which I guess is what a lip gloss should be and this deffo packs a punch with colour.

Overall, I have loved this months box, except the pants mascara but the good out weighs the bad. Such a great variety of items and brands.

The box has a total value of £81.99 and you pay £21.49 including delivery.
