Top 5 Nail Polishes

Essie Nail Lacquer Fall 2014 -Dress To Kilt £7.99
My all time favourite red nail polish and brand, I love my deep reds and this is a beautiful slightly deeper shade of red. Essie nail polishes lasts the longest on my dry and brittle nails aslong as I use a good base and top coat along with it. Gives great shine and is very pigmented, you only need 1 coat and you are ready to go but I usually do 2 just to make it abit more vibrant. The photo below is just one coat.

Urban Outfitters Nail Polish - Brown Eyes £6
I forgot how much I love this nail polish, I have had it for nearly 2 years now and it hasn't gone gloopy and horrible like many others would. You get so much product with these nail polishes, being 15ml compared to other pots which are usually around 10ml. It is a brown/mauve colour and lasts a good amount of time without chipping. Sadly I don't think this is available now but Urban Outfitters still have some lovely colours on their website and offer 10% off for student too.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint - Blood Orange £3.99
This one is very similar to the Essie Dress To Kilt nail polish mentioned above but more of a fire engine red with a hint of orange. I love the Barry M Gelly range because it gives that lovely glossy finish and gives that gelish manicure look without the UV lamp, like the name suggests. Sadly this does chip easily on me and does take a while to dry but if I use my OPI Top Coat and OPI Drip Dry Lacquer Drops then it is fine and lasts ages. I love this type of red for the Summer time.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora - Bestival Blue £2.99
I love this shade in the Spring/Summer time. This is my favourite nail polish for application. It has a nice fat brush so it coats my whole nail easily and is very opaque so one coat is all you need. Lasts a good amount of time even if I don't use a top coat. Gorgeous vibrant sky blue colour with a very slight hint of lilac. I love how this collection is named after festival related things like, Glaston Berry and Port A Loo Blue. (My favourite name ever haha.) Really great quality nail polishes.

Barry M Nail Paint - Ballerina £2.99
This is probably my only nude pink colour I own throughout my whole collection, and I have ALOT of nail polish laying around. Barry M make such great quality polishes for such an affordable price. Like the Hi-Shine ones I have to use a good top coat and quick dry drops along with these nail colours but the colours are so lovely so I don't mind that they are abit sticky and lack lasting time compared to others. This shade is a stunning dusty pink, very girly and pretty to wear in the Summer. The only downside is this does get quite gloopy and horrible quickly but I do use mine often and that could be why. Can't complain considering the low price tag.
