Look Incredible Beauty Box Review - February 2016

Beauty box subscriptions are becoming such a big thing nowadays. I have subcribed to loads and always find myself cancelling my subscription due to some being so repetitive and not great value for money. But quite recently I have found a couple that includes a variety of full size products which are high end and some drugstore. The most recent box I have discovered which I am so impressed with is Look Incredible.

Before I get onto the box I would like to tell you more about the company, with thanks to the team for helping me answer some of the questions I had to pass onto you guys. :)
The Look incredible team are fairly new and based here in the UK in a city not too far from me called Leicester and they launched their website in July 2015. Not only do they sell a great monthly beauty box but they also sell a range of high end and affordable cosmetics on their website LookIncredible.com so if you missed a box but still wish to purchase an item which was in that box, you can at an affordable price.

Look Incredible offer their beauty box service for £18.99 a month but you can cancel at any time with no strings attached. I think this is a great deal considering you get 5 full sized items and I have seem some boxes for over £30 a month which offer a similar range of products. Great bang for your buck!

The team have also let me know that they are currently working on creating a survey for all subscribers to tell them what they liked/disliked about te box to help them improve in the future which I love because it shows they are listening to the customers and adjusting to their requirments if needed. They really are a lovely bunch of people so don't hesitate to contact them if you have any questions.

Now onto the box, this month we received all high end items which all came to the total of £86.48, that is sooo crazy considering the box only costs £18.99 a month. The box design itself needs a little work I think, mine was kind of falling apart at the back but I like that it has a magnetic closing. But they are new brand so I will let them off ;) Included you also get a card with a list of all the products inside this months box and tells you the price and description of what each item is. Very handy indeed!

Here is what I got in this months box:

Fusion Beauty IllumiCover Concealer - Light £16.50
As far as I know this isn't widely available in the UK, but you can get it on Amazon. This is a 'lightweight brightening concealer' which helps cover dark circles and imperfections. Sadly when I got mine, it ended up breaking but the Look Incredible team were nice enough to send me a replacement but that one broke too! I must have bad luck or something. It has a twist bottom which you use to get the product into the brush at the top, I was twisting mine for agesss and nothing was happening then all of a sudden the top completely came off, it seemed like there was a lot of product build up and it just ended up popping off from the pressure but still I manged to use the product and test the colour and sadly I am not impressed at all, I got mine in the shade light but it is SO orange which you can see from the picture below, I will literally look like an oompa loompa if I applied this to my face but it is a very thick consistancy and not very lightweight but seems to be very high coverage. Some people might love this but for me I wasn't impressed considering its price tag which I am gutted about, I was most looking forward to this item.
Again another product that sadly isn't easy to get your hands on but I managed to find one on Ebay for £8 if anybody is interested.(Click the headers for links to products.) This is a lovely cheek tint in a orange/red shade, it is abit too orange for my taste but I know many people that would love this shade on them! It is a nice gel like consistancy and blends nicely but you do have to be quick because it does stain quick. I love the packaging, it is small so would be great for travelling and comes with a pump so it is easy to pump out a small amount, and trust me a small amount is all you need, it is so pigmented! Has great ingredients like camellia extract, maracuja oil, ginseng root extract and plenty more that is great for the skin. Tarte is also a cruelty free brand.

Essie Millionails Treatment £8.99
I was so happy to see this in my box, I love Essie nail polish and I love treatments. I have quite dry, brittle nails so I am all for trying anything that will help. Millionails is formulated with iron and amino acids which help prevent splitting, breaking and peeling of the nails. I can't wait to give this a try and see if it improves my nails at all.

Nars Single Matte Eyeshadow - Grenadlines £18
I am obsessd with this eyeshadow! I love that it is matte and is a beautiful rose/burgundy colour. Very pigmented but you can apply it so it is more sheer and it is easy to blend. Comes in a cute little compact with a mirror which is always handy. Perfect size for travelling. Can't wait to play around abit more with this shade. Good job Look Incredible!

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Lipstick - Hot Kiss £21.99
Another Product which I am struggling to find for sale in the UK, I found one on Amazon for £7.45. I personally won't be reaching for this because I absolutely hate shimmery lipsticks, I am more of a matte girl. It is a bronze/brown shade on me which is nice but it just isn't my thing. The packaging isn't great considering it is Estee Lauder which usually has sleek packaging. I think this might be old packaging or discontiued but I am not 100% sure. Still nice to receive a lipstick from a great brand in this months box though.

Overall Look Incredible have done well with including a variety of different products and brands but I think they need to start including items that are more widely available to purchase here in the UK. Like I said before, they are a new brand and still testing the water so I think they have done a brilliant job. I am looking forward to March's edition.
